Tabung Haji

Tabung Haji is relatively a stable investment and provides moderate return. This is an alternative way to invest your money, not necessarily for Hajj purposes only.

There are few ways to top up your investment:
1. Thru the counter.
2. Cut straight away from your monthly salary.
3. Using CDM service at Bank Rakyat or Bank Islam.

Some advantages:
1. Can deposit/withdraw from ATM at Bank Rakyat and Bank Islam outlet, with RM0.50 fee, provided that you have the ATM card.
2. Moderate return, better than normal savings or fixed deposit.
3. Dividend given is clean, 'zakat' is paid on your behalf.

Rate of return is between 4 and 8 percent p.a.

Yuran Sekolah 2016 - Kenaikan Luar Biasa

Belum termasuk tambang bas sekolah lagi. Kenaikan 10 peratus itu adalah sangat konservatif. Berjimat cermatlah dalam berbelanja. http://www.utusan.com.my/berita/wilayah/2-000-murid-terima-bantuan-persekolahan-8232-bernilai-rm60-000-sumbangan-tabung-haji-1.174935

Buying a new bike

Traffic in KK is getting worse from time to time. Not only expensive house rental and food, the cost for getting to work is also increasing. I am seriously considering buying a bike... Still haven't made up my mind yet, a typical bike or a scooter? Scooter looks more elegant and easier to handle. However, expect higher CAPEX and OPEX. Typical bike looks not so stylish, but should meet the intended purpose i.e. getting to work. Based on these arguments, I prefer scooter to typical bike :) Waiting for the right time, then just go the the shop and grab one... no more thinking. This one looks nice: Joymax 250: yet to find the dealer and OTR price. Huge luggage box works for me. The 12L fuel capacity is good for a non-stop 300km-journey.
